Quality Technician

QUALIFICATIONS

• Test and inspect product at various stages of production process.
• Process, compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Possess strong communication skills with the ability to train others.
• Knowledge and application of SPC is a plus.
• Good PC, data entry and ability to work in spreadsheets.
• Possess a positive can do attitude, demonstrating a proactive instead of reactive approach.
• Possess a willingness to learn and seek personal growth.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and twist repetitively.
• Ability to lift up to and including 5 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet 12 hours per day.

        RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review Spec Sheets to determine if the product is meeting the customer specifications.
• Ensure proper documentation on all customer returns through final disposition.
• Complete receiving inspection.
• Conduct Quality Tests as required.
• Work with plant personnel to prevent rejects form reoccurring.
• Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned by supervisor and or manager.
• Continuous learning and willingness to seek personal growth.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• Support SQF Certification.
• Punctuality and regular attendance.
